Mother Tongue Teacher, Tamil (two days, shared with a neighbouring setting)
I look for short Tamil segments and useful handover notes that let room teachers continue a rhyme, vocabulary sequence or familiar phrase while responding to the children present.
Explore the collectionI teach Tamil Mother Tongue Language across early-years rooms. When a session is carried forward by a room teacher, the handover should be useful without suggesting that I was present.
I am interested in short recorded segments and notes that preserve a clear thread for the room teacher. A rhyme, vocabulary sequence or familiar phrase can be introduced with enough context for an adult to continue it. The handover should say what can be used and leave space for the teacher to respond to the children that day.
Continuity is a planning question, not a claim that every session looks the same. I want Tamil to remain connected to the early-years room while being honest about who is there and what support has been prepared for a different day.
Give each recorded segment a clear purpose and enough context for a room teacher.
Include a Tamil rhyme, phrase or vocabulary thread that can be continued.
Label prepared support so it cannot be mistaken for my presence in a session.
