A little about me

I work as a bank practitioner, often joining a room for one or two days each week. Because I am not present every day, a short professional briefing helps me understand what routines are in place and which points I should follow up with the regular team.

Continuity matters, but a handover should share only information that is appropriate and useful for the shift. I want to know what will help me support the group, while leaving personal records and individual decisions with the staff responsible for them.

I look for resources that make preparation quick and clear. A briefing sheet can help me remember routines, key activities and who to speak to if a question comes up. It should support the work without pretending I have the same ongoing context as a practitioner who is there every day. I value simple ways to join the team responsibly.

How I approach a lesson

  1. Use concise handovers to understand current routines.

  2. Share only professional information needed for the shift.

  3. Check questions with the regular team rather than assuming context.
